Guiding Organisations Australia (GOA) is the peak industry body for Australian Tour Guides, made up from leading tour guide organisations.

The Professional Tour Guide Association of Australia is a Founding Member of GOA.

GOA has a commitment to identifying required standards, encouraging training, promoting best practice and reducing unethical guiding practices.

The Australian Government has supported GOA to develop and implement a national tour guide accreditation framework, Guides of Australia, to ensure world’s best practice in services to tourists visiting Australia.
